Sony RX100M3 Camera Name Leaked, Coming with 28-100mm f/1.8-2.8 Lens?
The new Sony DSC-RX100M3 camera name leaked in an official manual for the optional AG-R2 attachment grip.
Sony RX100M3 digital camera has no specifications detailed but from the image, RX100M2 successor camera features a slightly different lens.
We have put a title as Sony RX200 for the new patent which describes a 10-36mm f/1.8-2.8 lens designed for a 1″ sensor (28-100mm equivalent) design for the RX100 series cameras.
The recently patented 28-100mm f/1.8-2.8 lens could be used in the Sony RX100M3 camera. This lens is a lot brighter at the tele end compared to the current 28-100mm f/1.8-4.9 lens used by the RX100/RX100II.

Sony is rumored to announce new RX series cameras most likely around Photokina 2014 which will take place in September. Even the names are not revealed yet possible candidate names for these RX cameras were the Sony RX2 and Sony RX200.
Now it is more clear that the rumored Sony RX200 is the Sony RX100M3 camera as leaked in an official manual. The new Sony DSC-RX100M3 camera expected to be announced soon. It could even be announced along with the Sony A77 Mark II on May 1. Stay tuned!
