New Entry-Level Olympus OM-D Coming in January with E-M1 Sensor

The new entry-level Olympus OM-D camera to be announced in late January or mid-February. The upcoming entry-level OM-D camera rumored specs updated as the new camera will use the same sensor found on the current OM-D E-M1 micro four thirds camera.

The new entry-level Olympus OM-D micro four thirds camera announcement expected before the Camera and Photo Imaging Show called CP+ 2014 which is going to happen at the end of January. The name of the camera hasn’t revealed yet but we previously posted that the camera will have no AA filter on the E-M1 sensor.

According to 43R it is also confirmed that the camera will NOT replace the current  E-M5. The Olympus E-M5 will continue to be sold and this entry-level camera will be the announced as the successor of E-M5. There will be multiple lens announcements along with the new camera.
