The new Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200 f/2.8 ASPH enhances the SL-System with a high-performance lens that delivers consistently fast speed across the entire zoom range. Perfect for portraits, events, sports and nature photography, it captures images with exceptional Leica quality. Combined with the new Leica Extender L 2.0x, the focal length can be extended up to 400mm.

The image-stabilized Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200mm comprises 20 elements in 15 groups, including three aspherical lenses, and features an internal focusing mechanism. It has a close focus distance of 0.65m (2.1ft.) at 70mm and 1m (3.3ft.) at 200mm.
