New Sony Teaser: Product Launch Event on August 29th, 2023
Sony has released a teaser that a new camera will be officially announced on August 29th, 2023, JST 23:00. We expect to see the previously rumored Sony A7C II, Sony A7C R and Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II Lens on that day.
The upcoming Sony a7C II is rumored to feature a 33MP sensor, mirroring the Sony a7 IV‘s capabilities. Similarly, speculations about the Sony a7C R suggest a potential 61MP sensor, aligning with the a7R V‘s configuration.
According to latest rumors, the US price for the upcoming a7C II body will be around $2,000. This is a bit higher than the original a7C launch price which was at $1,798. The official announcement for a7C II is on August 29th. The Sony a7C R body price is around $3,000.
