Pentax K-3 Mark III APS-c DSLR Camera Announced for $1,999.95, Reviews and Hands-on Videos
Pentax has officially announced the Pentax K-3 Mark III is available for pre-order, with a price of $1999 body only, or $2199 as part of a premium, limited edition kit with battery grip, exclusive strap, and case.
The camera will be available from the 23rd of April, in Black or Silver. The K-3 Mark III features a new 25mp APS-C BSI CMOS sensor, large optical viewfinder, pixel-shift, in-body image stabilisation (IBIS), SAFOX 13 with 101 focus sensors, 12fps continuous shooting, a touch-screen, and 4K video recording.
The in-body stabilization system is now rated as offering 5.5EV of correction, the most yet for a K-mount camera. It gains a dedicated ‘panning’ mode in addition to the existing system that auto-detects panning, to ensure the camera doesn’t try to fight against slow, intentional panning motion.
