Canon EOS R7 Rumored to be Mirrorless Replacement Camera for EOS 7D
Canon EOS R7 is rumored to be the mirrorless replacement camera for EOS 7D. The Canon EOS R7 is rumored to have an APS-C sensor and said to be in field testing at the moment.
According to recent rumors, an APS-C sensor camera with RF mount is in the wild with a select group of photographers. The name of this new APS-C EOS R body would be Canon EOS R7.
On the other hand there has been talks about that this new Canon EOS R7 body could be the real replacement for the aging EOS 7D Mark II. The detailed specifications and pricing info are still unknown.
It looks like Canon will not release a replacement for the EOS 7D Mark II, at least not a DSLR. So, an RF mount camera with APS-C sensor will continue the heritage of the EOS 7D series. Check out the very first specifications of the possible EOS R7 camera.
