Canon RF 70-135mm f/2L USM Lens Rumored for Late 2020
Canon is rumored to announce a new RF mount lens in late 2020. The product in question would be the RF 70-135mm f/2L USM lens which has been rumored as one of the 5 lenses to be announced in 2020.
Looks like it will be the first candidate and join the Canon’s RF mount lens lineup. Since upcoming Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS R6 will have in-body image stabilization, it will be easier to guess that the upcoming RF 70-135mm f/2L USM lens will not have IS. In this way it will save the weight.
Hope we don’t see more delays due to coronavirus and this doesn’t impact the release of this lens. Because the f/2 aperture that is offered in this focal range will be very attractive for EOS R users.
