Canon EOS R5 Camera Appeared in a Presentation, No Announcement on May 16th, 2020
According to the latest rumors, a German retailer listed a presentation that the upcoming Canon EOS R5 full frame mirrorless camera will be officially announced on May 16, 2020. Unfortuately this won’t happen and this is not a presentation for a official Canon EOS R5 announcement.
The next EOS R5 passed several Bluetooth wireless certifications worldwide and already listed at Adorama and B&HPhoto. We already know that Canon EOS R5 will be the 5D series Equivalent for Mirrorless. The new EOS R5 will be able to record 8K video at 30p with no crop. See below what Foto Hamer confirmed that this event is not from Canon, so announcement may not coming next week:

It’s a LIVE workshop with a Canon product expert on the Canon R series and in this framework it presents the previously known information of the R5 There will be no demonstration of the camera and, in our knowledge, will not publish any information that is not yet known. Nevertheless, the workshop is of course exciting.
