Fujifilm X-T40 Camera Rumored for early 2021
Fujifilm X-T40 camera is rumored to announced in the beginning of 2021. The mid-range APS-c mirrorless camera is scheduled to arrive in 2021 and feature the same sensor as seen on the Fuji X-T4.
Major core specifications of the Fuji X-T40 will remain the same. Even the company has put the in-body image stabilization in the X-T4 we don’t expect IBIS to featured in the X-T40 for marketing purposes.
For those expecting IBIS on the X-T40, you might have to wait another generation until the X-T50. In the meantime you could pick up an X-T30 (Amazon, B&H, Adorama).

First specs of the X-T40 camera suggests that the camera will not feature the IBIS tech inside. According to release timeline of Fujifilm cameras, we expect to see the Fujifilm X-T40 and Fujifilm X-H2 cameras in the beginning of 2021 and Fujifilm X-T5 later next year.
