Nikon Z30 & Z70 APS-c Mirrorless Cameras Coming Next
After the introduction of the first DX mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z50, the first rumors have surfaced about the company’s new crop bodies with APS-c sensor.
According to this, Nikon is said to have placed the existing Z50 in the center and is working on two new models, both at the top level and at the entry level in a lower segment.
These two new APS-c Z-mount mirrorless cameras is said to be called the Nikon Z70 and the Nikon Z30.
- Nikon Z 30: an entry-level APS-C Z-mount mirrorless camera, coming in 2020 – 2021.
- Nikon Z70: an high-end/flagship APS-C Z-mount mirrorless camera, coming in 2020 – 2021.
The Nikon Z50 is a compact mirrorless camera with an APS-C sensor that uses the company’s Z-mount. It uses a 20.9MP BSI CMOS sensor (derived from the D500) with on-sensor phase detection, but not in-body image stabilization like the full-frame Z6 and Z7.

The camera can record 4K/30p video, albeit with a 1.5x crop. It has numerous special effects that can be used for both stills and video. The Z50’s connectivity includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
