First Real World Images of Nikon Z-Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/0.95
Here are severeal real world images of Nikon Z-Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 lens. Indian photographer Yusuf Kathawala got his hands on a prototype mockup of the manual-focus lens.
Below you can see a couple of pictures of the 58mm f/0.95 mounted to Nikon Z6 full frame mirrorless camera. The upcoming Noct is more of a proof of concept for Nikon to show what this mount could do in terms of image quality and speed.
The goal of the new Nikon Z Noct Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 lens is to beat the Zeiss Otus performance.
The most exciting one is sure the NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S NOCT lens which the company claims will have the ‘highest rendering performance’ and ‘flawless transitions’ between in- and out-of-focus areas, and will be manual focus only.
It will use ultra-high refractive index aspherical elements, a new ARNEO anti-reflection coating and its physical design will feature a small display panel that will display aperture, focal length and depth-of-field.
