Samyang XP 50mm F1.2 Lens Announced for Full Frame Canon DSLRs
Samyang has announced a new XP 50mm F1.2 lens for Canon DSLR cameras with full frame image sensor.
The new Samyang XP 50mm F1.2 is a manual focus prime lens designed for high resolution Canon DSLR cameras. Claimed to have a resolution of more than 50 megapixels for photography and 8K for video recordings. The portrait-length prime can also be used with APS-C models where it will provide a 75mm equivalent focal length with cameras like EOS 77D and 80D.
The Samyang XP 50mm F1.2 is the third lens of the premium XP series following in the footsteps of the XP 85mm f/1.2 and XP 14mm f/2.4. The suggested retail price of the Samyang XP 50mm F1.2 will be approximately $899 in US, available from March 2018.

You can express unconstrained depth with the bright aperture, while the 9 blades also deliver beautiful bokeh, starburst, and out-focusing effects. The lens features 11 lenses in 8 groups, helping to minimize distortion and various aberrations, while producing crystal clear resolution. The special optic lenses, aspherical lens, and high-refractive lens deliver sharp and vivid images to camera sensors by effectively tuning the light path, and, thanks to the ultra multi-coating, flare and ghosting effects can be controlled.
