Canon EF 14-24mm f/2.8L and New Wide Angle Lenses Coming This Fall

Canon is expected to announce new wide angle lenses in 2013. Two new wide angle zoom lenses for full frame Canon cameras will be coming in the next 6-8 months.

Canon EF 14-24mm f/2.8L wide angle lens will be the one to be announced this Fall in 2013.  This new wide angle lens will compete against Nikon’s popular AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 lens.

In addition to EF 14-24mm f/2.8L lens, two other wide-angle zoom lenses also rumored to be replaced. One of them is Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L and the other one is Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II are also up for replacement.

There is also one more new wide angle zoom lens, which is EF 16-50mm f/4L IS USM in test and could be announced by the end of 2013.
