Canon EOS-1D X Mark II Firmware Version 1.1.3 Released
Canon USA released a new firmware update version 1.1.3 for EOS-1D X Mark II full frame DSLR camera.
The EOS-1D X Mark II ($5,999 at Amazon) features a 20.2-megapixels full frame CMOS sensor. Powered by the new Dual “DIGIC 6+” processors, the high-end DSLR features a new Al Servo AF III+, improved 61-point AF system with 41 cross-type AF points.
It has a new 360k RGB+IR metering sensor, 4K video capture up to 60p and an ISO range of 100 to 51200 (expandable from 50 up to 409600).

Changes in the Firmware
Firmware Version 1.1.3 incorporates the following improvements to enhance functions.
- Corrects a phenomenon in which the drive mode icon is not correctly displayed when using custom shooting modes (C1/C2/C3).
- Changes the maximum number of “Release cycles” displayed from 1,000,000 cycles to 9,999,000 cycles. This value can be checked under the “Camera system information” menu.
- Improves the reliability of communication via USB cable when using the Lens Data Registration function within EOS Utility 3 software.
