Pentax Ricoh has announced their new Pentax Q7 super-compact digital interchangeable-lens camera. Pentax Q7 mirrorless camera announcement with price and specs details are below.

Pentax Q7 is the latest Q-mount mirrorless camera and the first to feature a larger, 1/1.7″ type sensor. The new extra-large image 12MP BSI CMOS  sensor for enhanced performance is the same size as the one used in many enthusiast compacts. Pentax claims claiming a 60% improvement in S/N ratio over the existing Q10. This improvement also allows the camera to focus faster in low light.

The new Pentax Q7 camera also includes Full HD movie recording, DR II dust removal system, in-camera HDR exposure blending, digital level function, Eye-Fi card compatibility, a multi-exposure mode and a 3-inch, 460,000-dot rear screen with an aspect ratio of 3:2.
