Panasonic G85 Sensor Review and Test Results
DxOMark has published the Panasonic G85 sensor review and test results. The SLR-style mid-range interchangeable lens mirrorless camera achieved an overall DxOMark sensor score of 71 points.
The follow-up to do G7 model uses a 16.0-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor and new Venus Engine. It has a sensitivity range from ISO 200-25600.
According to DxOMark, the score comes with a combination of 22.8 bits color sensitivity, 12.5 EV dynamic range, and 656 ISO low-light score. As a result to the Panasonic G85 sensor review, the MILC becomes the best performing MFT sensor, just behind the 20.3MP Panasonic GX8 and the 16MP Panasonic GH4.
Panasonic G85 Sensor Gets DxOMarked
The mirrorless shooter also achieved an impressive 84% overall score and Gold Award from the experts at DPReview.
From DxOMark verdict:
Panasonic’s latest DSLR-style Lumix DMC-G80/G85 is certainly an attractive blend of ergonomics, features and performance. As for sensor performance alone, the G80/85 sensor delivers impressive image quality overall. Indeed, it is not dissimilar to the 20.3 MP sensor in the high-end GX8. Perhaps that’s one reason why we’ve yet to see the 20.3MP unit used more widely. Sensor performance is of course just one aspect when weighing up the pros and cons of a new camera.
This is all for Panasonic G85 sensor review. Hope you find these informations useful.
