Sony A6500 mirrorless camera set to replace A6300 soon
Sony is rumored to announce a replacement for the A6300 mirrorless camera. It will be the Sony A6500 with 5-axis image stabilization technology.
The Japan-based company will hold an announcement event for several E-mount products for the third quarter of the year. The event will happen in late October or early November.
As we’ve posted earlier this announcement will include the A5300 which will also replace the A5100. According to this rumor Sony A6500 will join the party.

Sony A6500 mirrorless camera to be announced soon
The Photo Plus show opens its doors between dates October 20 and 22 in New York. The company unveil new E-mount cameras for this event.
There are no detailed specifications for the upcoming Sony A6500 camera at the moment. It will be an upgraded model which includes the 5-axis image stabilization. We can expect slightly bigger buffer and EVF magnification features over the current version.
The A6300 offers maximum ISO of 51200 and 4K video capture up to 100 Mbps. The mid-range MILC features a 24-Megapixels APS-C image sensor. It provides 425-point on-sensor phase-detection AF system, 11fps continuous and silent shooting. It is priced around $1,000 at Amazon | B&H | Adorama stores.
