Nikon has announced the DX-format D500 DSLR camera that features a 20.9-megapixel APS-C image sensor. The digital SLR model is powered by the new Expeed 5 image processor found in the D5.
It also has the same 153-point AF system with 99 cross-type sensor and can able to shoot continuously at 10 fps with a 200 shot buffer for Raw images.
Version 3.1 of Iridient Developer which is an acclaimed raw image file conversion and photo processing software for Mac OS now supports the Nikon D5 and D500 cameras.

The high-end DX-format DSLR can also capture 4K/UHD video and also features ‘SnapBridge’, a constant connection to a smartphone using Bluetooth. It is the first model in the mobile application.
