Additional Nikon D5 Information
From Dpreview :
“Even at a modest 3 stop push, we see the D5 has already contributed a considerable amount of noise to its low ISO images compared to the 24MP D750. After a 5 stop push the gap widens, with the D750’s 5 stop file looking more like the 3 stop file from the D5. In fact, the D5’s performance closely resembles the performance seen from the Canon 6D, with just a bit more color noise showing in the 6D’s file.”
Nikon D5 flagship DSLR camera features a 20.8-megapixel FX sensor, a 153-point AF module with 99 cross-hatched focus sensors, a maximum shooting speed of 14fps at full resolution (12fps with AF), as well as 4K movie recording capabilities. See the official announcement, Nikon D5 vs Canon 1D X Mark II Comparison and Nikon D5 vs D4s Comparison.
The D5 at 81,275 ISO is insane:
Nikon D5 is characterized by its redeveloped Multi-CAM 20K 153-point AF system, which incorporates 99 cross-type sensors for refined precision when tracking moving subjects or working in difficult lighting conditions The specs list also includes 3.2″ 2.36m-dot touchscreen LCD monitor afford clean, clear playback and live view shooting, along with an intuitive means for navigating the menu system.
