Fujifilm X-Pro2 Announcement Delayed To Early 2016

More details posted for the long-rumored Fujifilm X-Pro2 mirrorless camera as it is now expected to be announced in early 2016 due to unnamed issues about its sensor.

According to latest Fuji rumors, the upcoming X-mount mirrorless camera will feature the 24-megapixel APS-C sensor to be made by Sony which will possibly be the same sensor in Sony A7000.

As rumor mill claims Sony’s problems with the sensor affects the schedule and the flagship X-mount camera has been postponed to the early 2016.

It has been said that all current Fujinon lenses will be compatible with the Fujifilm X-Pro2. The X-Pro2 will be much smaller than the X-Pro1 which is currently selling for about $900.

Along with the 24-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, the X-pro2 said to feature built-in WiFi, dual SD card slots, and a tilting display. See the combined specs posted so far.
