Leica M Monochrom Replacement Camera Coming Soon

A new Leica Monochrom replacement camera is on the horizon. The upcoming Leica M Monochrom is expected to be announced in February / March, 2015.

According to Leica Rumors, the new Leica M Monochrom will look similar to the M-P version but no letters on the top plate.

The successor will have a new 24-megapixel CMOS sensor and will be shipping a few months after the official announcement.

Leica Camera has officially announced the M-P 240 full frame rangefinder camera model at Photokina 2014 event. The current Leica M-P rangefinder camera feature 24-megapixel full frame CMOS sensor, 3-inch 920k pixels LCD screen and native ISO range between 200-6400.
