Canon 1D X Replacement Rumored to Feature Multi-layered Sensor
The Canon EOS 1D X has been available for about two years. Previous rumors told that Canon is testing a new full frame camera and it is said to be the replacement for the EOS 1D X DSLR,. A possible Canon EOS-1D X Mark II DSLR camera will be aimed at professional photographers and coming in 2015.
This second camera could be the Canon’s new 46-megapixel professional DSLR camera, which is rumored for PhotoPlus 2014 show in New York at the end October. So if this is the second high-resolution camera than the Canon 46MP DSLR release date will probably be Q1 2015.
Canon may introduce this high megapixel camera in two variants. It is not clear but it could be an EOS-3D or a Cinema EOS version with 4K video capability. Stay tuned!
