Fuji To Announce a XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD “super bokeh” lens
Fujifilm is rumored to announce a new XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD lens which is designed to provide smooth bokeh.
The XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD will have a Fuji nanotechnology apodizing filter that produces smoother bokeh. The lens will feature a sort of Smooth Transition Focus technology seen on the Sony-Minolta 135mm f/2.8 [T4.5] lens for A-mount cameras.
The classic Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 lens is currently priced for $999.

Fuji To Announce a XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD “super bokeh” lens
The new XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD lens will have a focal length of 56mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.2. The lens will provide a 35mm focal length equivalent of 85mm.
The Fuji XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD will deliver smooth bokeh and could become the perfect portrait photography lens for X-mount users. Along with the XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD, Fuji will also announce the mid-range zoom XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR lens (details here).
The new Fujifilm products will be displayed at Photokina 2014 event between September 16 – 21.
