Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4G OSS Lens Displayed in Japan

Sony has updated its FE-mount lens roadmap and added two new lenses to the lineup. These lenses are the Zeiss FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS and Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS.

Along with the Sony A77II, A7s and RX100M3 product announcements, Sony also confirmed the launch of the new Zeiss 16-35mm f/4.0 OSS FE lens.

Even there is no other info about the pricing and final release of the lens. It is expected to be same price of the current Zeiss 24-70mm FE lens.

The Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4G OSS lens has also been displayed at a special product launch event in Japan. See the first prototype of the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4G OSS lens below.

Updated Sony FE Lens Roadmap Released

Sony Japan released an updated Sony FE lens roadmap. Two new lenses were added:

  • Vario-Tessar T* 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS (SEL1635Z)
  • FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS (SELP28135G)
