Egami has discovered a new patent filed by Olympus. The new patent describes a 12-150mm f/4-6.3 IS lens for micro four thirds system cameras.

Olympus 12-150mm f/4-6.3 lens patent shows that the lens will come with built-in image stabilization technology.

The lens will provide a 35mm focal length equivalent of 24-300mm. This lens is a candidate to replace the current Olympus ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 lens.
