New Nikon Product Announcement on May 15th?

Nikon is rumored to make an official product announcement on May 15th. The next Nikon product is expected to be a mirrorless camera and it will probably be the Nikon 1 S2.

Nikon 1 S2 mirrorless camera is rumored a while ago. The entry-level mirrorless shooter is now on the horizon and replace the current 1 series S1 model.

Nikon 1 S2 camera could be introduced outside of US, for Asia and Europe markets only just like the Nikon 1 J4.

Nikon 1 S2 rumored specifications include a 14.2 MP sensor with 73 phase detection and 135 contrast detection AF points. This looks like a usual Spring announcement from Nikon.
