Viltrox AF 25mm f/1.7 Air lens for cameras with APS-C sensor is now officially announced. The new Viltrox lens will be available in Fuji X, Sony E and Nikon Z mounts. The US price of the lens is $180 and available at Amazon and B&HPhoto.
Providing a full-frame equivalence of 37.5mm, this prime lens is suited for various subjects, including street scenes, nature, and still life. Driving this lens’s autofocusing is a fast and quiet leadscrew-type STM motor. Its bright f/1.7 maximum aperture is paired with 9 aperture blades to allow working in dimly lit settings and to create stunning bokeh that makes your subject stand out. Optical aberration and image distortion are reduced by the incorporated extra-low dispersion (ED), high-refractive (HR), and aspherical (ASPH) lens elements.
