Canon EOS R1 and R5 Mark II In Short Supply

The shortage is largely attributed to ongoing supply chain disruptions affecting electronic components, a challenge that has plagued the tech industry globally. Additionally, Canon’s growing popularity in the mirrorless market has only increased demand for these cameras, further intensifying the supply issues.

For photographers eagerly awaiting these models, the shortages mean longer wait times and possible preorder delays. However, Canon is reportedly working to ramp up production to meet demand. In the meantime, photographers are advised to place orders early or seek alternative models in the EOS R-series to meet their immediate needs.

With both the EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II offering cutting-edge technology, the high demand is unsurprising, but the wait may be longer than many had hoped for. Stay tuned for updates as supply improves in the coming months.
