Viltrox officially announced the previously reported AF 56mm f/1.7 APS-C lens. Designed for Nikon Z and Fuji X mount, the US price for this lens is $139. Check availability at B&HPhoto and Amazon.

The Viltrox 56mm f/1.7 is a pretty incredible value and it is worth picking up if you need an affordable 56mm lens. Viltrox AF 56mm is way more cheaper than the the VILTROX 20mm f2.8 FE.

Viltrox has been in the photography market since 2009. The Chinese manufacturer is targeting low prices and volume through sales of lenses designed for APS-C Sony E-mount and Fuji X-mount cameras. The release of Viltrox’s auto-focus 56mm f/1.7 is therefore highly anticipated because it combines AF and a fast aperture all at a highly economical price point.
