Rumors : Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II Lens to Cost $2,399 ?
So the new Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II lens is scheduled to be announced on September 12th, 2023 along with Sony A7C II and Sony AC7 R. This new wide angle zoom lens is rumored to cost $2,399 which is $200 more than the current Sony FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM lens.
Sony will hold a major product launch event soon. We expect to see the previously rumored Sony A7C II, Sony A7C R and Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II Lens on that day.
According to previous rumors, the US price for the upcoming a7C II body will be around $2,000. This is a bit higher than the original a7C launch price which was at $1,798. The official announcement for a7C II is on August 29th. The Sony a7C R body price is around $3,000.
