Canon has been rumored for months about a new super telephoto zoom, and we already met the RF 100-300mm f/2.8L IS USM, which the company have taken a fresh approach to its super telephoto lenses. With the teleconverter engaged, next lens would be the the RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM 1.4x that will offer a focal length range of 280-700mm f/5.6L IS USM, perfect for wildlife and sports photography. The new lens will be extremely compact and lightweight, ideal for photographers who need to move quickly while shooting.

Of course, with all these impressive features comes a hefty price tag. It would be fair to say that the RF 200-500mm f/4L IS USM 1.4x will be another five-digit lens from Canon and we can expect an official announcement in late 2023.
