Fujifilm X-T5, X-T4, X-H2S, and X-H2 Dynamic Range Comparison
Here is a list of the Fujifilm X-T5, X-T4, X-H2 and X-H2s dynamic range comparison. Photons To Photos published Fujifilm X-T5 dynamic range results, and it’s interesting to see that despite sharing the same sensor and processor, the X-T5 provide different PDR resuts to the Fujifilm X-H2 and X-T4.
Dynamic range in photography describes the ratio between the maximum and minimum measurable light intensities (white and black, respectively). We can also interpret dynamic range as the measurement between the whitest whites and the blackest blacks in an image, or the lowest and highest values of density and luminance.
While the Fujifilm X-H2 hangs with the Fujifilm X-T4 well, the Fujifilm X-T5 falls behind by around 400 ISO and stays there. It almost looks like Fujifilm set up the sensor in the X-H2, X-T4, and X-H2S with dual native ISOs, while the X-T5 has a pretty flat response from 150 ISO up.
