New Firmware Updates for Fujifilm X-H2 and X-H2s Released

Fujifilm has released new firmware updates for the Fujifilm X-H2 and the Fujifilm X-H2s. Firmware version 1.10 for X-H2 and Ver 2.10 for X-H2s now available for download.

The Fujifilm X-H2S features an evolved AF system capable of shooting up to 40 frames per second and offering newly developed subject-recognition AF technology and can even film 6.2K/30P and 4K/120P video. In Fuji world the X-T4 was priced at $1699 and the X-H1 at $1899.

The Fujifilm X-T5 is said to have the same 40MP sensor as the X-H2. It will be interesting to see how much the “X-T5” improves over the “X-T4” and how it differentiates itself from the Fuji X-H2 ($1,999 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama). See also : Fujifilm X-H2 Vs X-H2S – Comparison

  2. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the “Remote Rec Function” was shut off while using the FT-XH.
  3. The firmware bug has been fixed, which caused that the AF function did not work even if the shutter was half pressed in case that the focus was way off.
  4. Another minor bug has been fixed.
