Here is another rumor for Canon EOS R1 flagship mirrorless camera. According to the latest Canon rumors, Canon EOS R1 announcement is planned for the second half of 2023. There were rumors about a 100MP Canon EOS R camera and looks like Canon EOS R1 will be the new resolution king.
In terms of features, Canon EOS R1 will be a new king of resolution and it will focus on 8K video production. We have also heard that the EOS R1 is a step forward in form factor and ergonomics, combining what you would expect from Canon’s flagship camera with some new features. Canon has spent much of its development talking to photographers, especially pros using the EOS R3.
The previous rumors said the new high-megapixel Canon EOS R series camera was being tested by a very select group of photographers as a finished product. And, the high-megapixel Canon EOS R series camera is not simply going to be an EOS R5 body with a higher resolution sensor, but a camera deasigned specifically for landscape and studio photographers. So it may be a camera that is quite different from the EOS R5 in terms of body design and functions. If you love recording videos or making movies, you will probably like the Canon EOS R5 or the Canon EOS R6.
Rumors : Canon EOS R1 to be “New Resolution King”
Latest reports say that Canon’s new flagship will be the “new resolution king” and will focus on 8K motion production and integration with the Cinema EOS series, but that there will be no “C” version.
Until now, we had no idea what kind of camera the EOS R1 would be, but since information has come out that it will be the “king of resolution”, if this is true, it will be at least higher than the 61 million pixels of Sony a7R IV.
