Zhiyun-Tech today officially announced the new Zhiyun WEEBILL 3 & Smooth Q4 Gimbal Stabilizers. The US price of Zhiyun WEEBILL 3 is $449, the Zhiyun Smooth Q4 is priced at 119. Now the new Zhiyun WEEBILL 3 & Smooth Q4 are available for pre-order at B&H, Adorama.

Today the company has announced the release of the all new WeeBill 3 designed for use with mirrorless and DSLR cameras.

The WeeBill 3 has been designed with an updated SLING 2.0 design that not only improves the ergonomics but also incorporates, a built-in microphone, fill light and a powerful, built-in battery that will supply power for a full days filming.

ZHIYUN Sling 2.0

Using a selection of lightweight yet strong materials the new WeeBill has been designed to be at the heart of your production. A new streamline approach sees a focus on the comfort and agility of the new gimbal over it’s predecessor.

The SLING 2.0 system features three key components that ZHIYUN suggest makes this the most comfortable gimbal yet.

The new SLING 2.0 incorporates a restructured L-shape handle, this is designed to be more stable when self standing than the previous design and is especially important when using the TransMount video transmitter (Sold separately) to enable motion tracking.

The two other major enhancements to the design are a new wrist rest, and a repositioned, extendable sling grip. Together these two addition provide 40% more support to your wrist by shifting the weight onto your arm.

In use we found in our review that this was certainly the case and during filming helped to add addition support that reduced fatigue. As on the WeeBill 2 the grip features a host of direct access buttons including thumb buttons, mini control stick and finger trigger wheel that can be used for a variety of different functions.

WeeBill 3 Built-in Microphone & Light

The WEEBILL 3 feature a built-in Hi-Fi microphone along with a 1000 lumen fill light. This combination enables you to keep your video rig nice and light weight and agile as well as helping to avoid having to have wires connecting up various different accessories.

The Hi-Fi microphone enables forward-focused cardioid recording, with noise-cancelling, while the 1000 lumen fill light offers the ability to change the colour temperature and adjust brightness.

What really makes the WeeBill 3 stand-out is that it forms part of a larger eco-system of products. These products are designed to evolve with you and push forward your filmmaking potential. The TransMount accessories greatly extend WeeBills abilities with the seamless wireless video transmission through the TransMount Image Transmitter and MasterEye Visual Controller VC100. Other accessories include the essential ZHIYUN Follow Focus/Zoom and ZY Play App.

Outstanding Battery Life & PD Fast Charging Support

Compared to the previous version, the WEEBILL 3 upgrades the large 7,800mAh internal battery, which now provides up to 21-hours use for all-day filming support. With support for PD fast charging (0-100% in 2 hours) and pass-through charging of attached cameras (5V/1A), the WEEBILL 3 offers outstanding endurance with minimal downtime.

Next-gen Quick Release system
ZHIYUN’s latest quick release system includes a dual quick-release plate with embedded magnetic wrench. The camera requires balancing just once, then it can be repeatedly mounted and secured easily, fast and conveniently without needing to rebalance, saving time.
