Fujifilm will hold a new product launch conference on May 31, 2022 at 10:00 PM (JST). The Fujifilm X-H2S will be officially announced at X Summit OMIYA 2022 with several new products (see full list here). According to latest Fuji rumors the new Fujifilm X-H2S mirrorless camera will be priced at $2,499.
Let’s compare this rumored price with the general situation in the market. In Fuji world the X-T4 was priced at $1699 and the X-H1 at $1899. Considering these prices the Fujifilm X-H2S will probably be the most expensive X-series camera when its launched. However X-H2s will offer a full size stacked sensor with this price tag. Meaning that it’s a lot cheaper than the full-size stacked CMOS sensor-equipped cameras such as Sony a1, Nikon Z9, Canon EOS R3), and it’s about the same price range as the Micro Four Thirds stacked model MO System OM-1 at $2199. You should feel that it is affordable for a stacked CMOS sensor model.
Fuji will announce the X-H2S mirrorless camera on May 31 event. As we reported earlier the highly anticipated Fujifilm X-H2s and X-H2 cameras are expected to be announced separately. Fuji X-H2 will be the high-resolution model (around 40MP, new sensor new processor) and full announcement of this beast will be after X-H2S launch. Although it depends on the specifications of the entire market, the current informations leaked suggests that the Fujifilm X-H2S will have a cheaper price for an APS-C camera equipped with a stacked sensor.
