Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN FE Lens Coming in Late 2022

New rumors started to leak for the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN FE lens. According to latest Sigma rumors, the telephoto zoom lens is expected to arrive by the end of the 2022.

Designed for  full-frame Sony E mount, you can use this premium lens on mirrorless cameras such as the Sony A7 IV, Sony A7R IV.

As you might remember we’ve shared some recent updates on Sigma lenses that will be announced in 2022. Those were the Sigma 50mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary lens and Sigma 50mm f/1.2 DG DN Art lens, as well as the 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens. This Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN FE Lens is the fourth of the rumored Sigma lenses for 2022 and will be the last to be announced at the end of the year.

Sigma will announce the new 50mm f/1.2 DG DN Art and 50mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary Lens in Q2 (April-June) of 2022 with the new 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens. The latest rumor suggests that the new Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN Lens for Sony E mount will be announced by the end of the year. The release of the 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN FE Lens could be early next year, this is because the semiconductor and supply issues haven’t been resolved yet.
