According to latest Fujifilm rumors, one of the X-H1 Replacement model will be named as Fujifilm X-H2S. Now let’s take a look at the details.
If you’ve been following the recent Fuji rumors, you’ve probably heard that the company may announce the X-H1 replacement around May 2022. At the last point, we mentioned that Fuji is working on two different X-H2 models. The company is planning to announce two versions of the X-H2 camera soon, called “Fujifilm X-H2″ and “Fujifilm X-H2S“.
The Fujifilm X-H2 camera will be equipped with a 40-megapixel APS-C image sensor, and the Fuji X-H2S camera will feature a 26-megapixel image sensor. It is currently unknown whether this 26-megapixel sensor will be a “back-illuminated type” or a “stacked BSI“. Considering the pixel count, a 26-megapixel stacked BSI seems likely, but the possibility of adoption of the CFexpress Type B as a 40-megapixel recording medium should also be considered.
In addition, both Fujifilm X-H2 and Fujifilm X-H2S cameras have a newly upgraded image processor, support 8K video recording, and both are priced at less than $2,500. Fujifilm X-H1 is absolutely fantastic value for money. It is now for only $1,199 with Battery Grip Kit at Amazon.
