Nikon Developing MC-N10 Remote Grip for Z-mount System

Nikon is developing the MC-N10 Remote Grip for Nikon Z Mount System. In addition to the new Z9 Firmware v.2.0 & Z7 II and Z6 II firmware v.1.4 updates, Nikon also announced the development of the MC-N10 Remote Grip for Nikon Z mount mirrorless cameras.

The Remote Grip MC-N10 is an accessory that allows remote control of Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras via USB-C and remotely duplicates a range of camera controls. It can control various functions of Nikon mirrorless cameras, increasing the efficiency of video recording with a small crew and expanding the possibilities of video recording. It also supports still shooting. On the front of the grip is an on/off button, a shutter release, [REC] button, an ISO button an exposure compensation button, a command dial and a pair of function buttons on the grip itself. On the rear of the remote grip is a second command dial, a joystick for navigating and controlling AF points, an AF-ON button, an Info button, a Display button, magnify in/out buttons, a memory button and a review/playback button.

In addition, Nikon has also introduced the Nikon 660 GB CFexpress memory card (Type B) which is a high-capacity card compatible with the Z9 that achieves read speeds of up to 1700 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1500 MB/s. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later stage.
