According to recent rumors, Nikon will soon announce a mirrorless camera with APS-c sensor along with new lenses. We expect the Nikon Z30 APS-c mirrorless camera to appear with four new lenses in this major announcement.
According to recent reports, the company will announce up to four new lenses, including Z macro and a new Z pancake lens. The details of the lenses are unknown, but since it includes macro and pancakes, at least two of the 28mm, 40mm, 50mm micros, and 105mm micros listed on the Z lens roadmap will appear.
It was previously claimed that Nikon will release an APS-c mirrorless camera in the first half of 2021. It seems that the time has come. Although there are two rumored models (Z30 and z70), we think this camera will be Nikon Z30.
Rumors : Updated Nikon Z9 Specifications
The Z50 is Nikon’s first APS–C mirrorless camera. It’s a miniature Z7 or Z6 with a smaller sensor (see Nikon Z50 vs Nikon Z6 vs Nikon Z7 – Comparison). Although the Nikon Z50 is the younger brother in the Z-system series, it will not be the smallest member; there are rumors that at some point this year we will see the launch of an entry-level Nikon Z30. As you might guess the “ZX0” seems somewhat to be Nikon’s naming scheme for APS-C sensor bodies.
