Nikon Z50 Firmware Update Version 2.01 released

Nikon released a new firmware update version 2.01 for Nikon Z50 mirrorless camera. This is a minor update with a fix for a minor error when using Korean or simplified Chinese language (no need to update unless you use the languages).

The Nikon Z50 is a compact, lightweight camera that is a joy to use thanks to its deep handgrip, logical control layout, and very good electronic viewfinder and LCD screen. The Z50 is compatible with the FTZ mount adapter, allowing it to use F-mount DSLR lenses.

Nikon Z50 features a 21MP BSI CMOS APS-C sensor (similar to what’s on the D500) with 209 phase detection AF pixels, ISO 100-51200, 11fps burst shooting, EXPEED 6 processor, 180-degree flip screen, 2360k-dot EVF, 4K UHD video recording at 30p, and a 395g body.

“Fixed character display issues that occurred when Korean or simplified Chinese was selected for the language item in the camera menus. No update is required if the language item in the menus for your camera does not list options for Korean or simplified Chinese.”
