The Nikkor Z 50mm F1.2 S is an ultra-fast standard prime for Nikon’s full-frame mirrorless system. It features a total of 17 elements, which include ED and aspherical glass. The two focus groups are driven by their own stepping motors. Nikon’s Arneo and Nano Crystal coatings are used to reduce ghosting and flare. The minimum focus distance is 0.45m and the max magnification is 0.15x. The lens weighs a whopping 1.1kg (2.4lbs) and uses 82mm filters.
