According to latest rumors, Leica will soon announce a new Leica M10-R camera. Here are the first leaked images of Leica M10-R, which is expected to have the same 47MP sensor from the Leica Q2 and SL2.
The Leica M10 Monochrom is the first black-and-white camera of the Leica M-system The new sensor has lowered the base ISO from 320 to 160, and Leica also claims an improvement in dynamic range. The camera works with all Leica M-Bayonet mount lenses, and features an ISO range of ISO160 to ISO100,000.
There will be two available colors: black and silver. The new M10-R has the same radio certification as the new M10 Monochrom.
Externally, at least, the Leica M10-R looks identical to the Leica M10 Monochrom, with the exception of the new model name on the top plate and the reinstation of the signature Leica red dot on the front. WThe Leica Monochrome features a 40.8MP monochrome sensor, it is rumored that the M10-R will feature a 47MP sensor. According to reports, the “R” may stand for “resolution”.
