Coming Soon : Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens
Sigma will soon announce a new super telephone zoom lens for Sony E-mount cameras. The product would be the Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens.
This is a telephoto zoom within Sigma‘s Contemporary series that blends both a refined optical design with a compact and lightweight physical construction. The lens construction utilizes four SLD glass elements to noticeably reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing throughout the zoom range for improved clarity and color accuracy, and a Super Multi-Layer Coating has also been applied to increase contrast when working in strong lighting conditions. The lens sports a Hyper Sonic Motor to produce quick, smooth, and quiet autofocus performance with full-time manual focus override.
The Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens is already available in Canon EF and Nikon F mounts for $799, so we expect the Sony E-mount version will also be priced at $799. In addition to the Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens, Sigma is rumored to announce a new 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS lens. See the latest report from Nokishita below:
