Check out the leaked 2020 Canon lens roadmap for RF-mount. According to the details Canon will announce 8 new RF-mount lenses in 2020. The official announcement for some of these RF lenses could happen along with EOS R5 and EOS R6 announcement in early July.
EOS R is the first camera to feature the RF lens mount with a 12-pin connection, flange back distance of 20mm and a wide 54mm mount diameter enabling even greater flexibility in lens design. As you can see the EOS R system will meet two long telephoto model with f/11 aperture; 600mm DO and 800mm DO. We guess these lenses are for the hobbyist and enthusiasts with an affordable price tag.
There will also be at least one fast L prime and some non-L lenses in 2020.
