Updated rumored specs of Canon EOS R6 have been leaked online. After the development announcement of Canon EOS R5, next camera from Canon will be the Canon EOS R6.
The upcoming Canon EOS R6 full frame mirrorless camera is expected to be officially announced in May, just ahead of Photokina 2020. This camera is expected to be released in June 2020, before the EOS R5 shipments which is scheduled for July. Check out the updated specs list of Canon EOS R6 camera below.
So, according to the specifications, the Canon EOS R6 will be positioned below the Canon EOS R5, and will not be a high-ISO speed/sports camera. Also keep in mind that the production of the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 have been delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Less than 1/4 of Canon’s manufacturing capacity has been impacted because of the supply chain issues from the Coronavirus.

- New battery (Not sure if it’s the same as the EOS R5)
- June 2020 launch (We think a May announcement)
The new Canon EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera is now listed at Adorama and B&HPhoto. The detailed specifications and pricing info are still unknown.
