Canon Cinema EOS C300 Mark III & RF Mount Cinema EOS Camera Coming in 2020

Here are some info about upcoming Cinema EOS cameras that are expected to be released in 2020. The products in question are the Canon Cinema EOS C300 Mark III & RF Mount Cinema EOS Cameras.

Last month, Canon has officially introduced the new Cinema EOS C500 Mark II and it was the only Cinema EOS camera from Canon that for the year 2019.

According to recent reports the first Cinema EOS camera to be announced in 2020 will be the Cinema EOS C300 Mark III. C300 Mark III will be a Super35 4K camera that will follow the modular design of the Cinema EOS C500 Mark II.

The second Cinema EOS camera could be the replacement of C100 Mark II, this new camera could be the first Cinema EOS camera that use RF mount and 8K Cinema EOS camera could also be coming with a development announcement.

Below are a list of new products to be announced before Photokina 2020 according to CR:

  • Canon EOS-1D X Mark III: Canon’s flagship full frame DSLR camera, it is rumored to shoot 6K video with no corp, IBIS, new DIGIC processor, high megapixel, dual CFexpress card slots. Announcement in early 2020, ahead of Photokina 2020.
  • Canon EOS RS high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera, rumored to have a 80+MP full frame mirrorless sensor, to be announced in early 2020.
  • Canon Cinema EOS C300 Mark III for the NAB 2020 event.
  • A lot of new RF mount lenses will be announced in early 2020.
