Here are the latest updates for the upcoming Nikon full frame mirrorless, DSLR cameras as well as new lenses. In this October 2019 edition of “What to expect from Nikon” , you’ll get the latest news and rumors in one place.

There are a total of five new Nikon camera codes that has been registered online. This also means that we’ll meer at least 5 new Nikon cameras in 2019 – 2020 period. The products in question are the Nikon D6, Nikon D760, Nikon Z8 and rumored Nikon DX Mirrorless Cameras (Nikon Z50?).

Upcoming Nikon cameras are expected both in Nikon DSLR and Mirrorless models. Especially for the DSLR cameras, the announcements will happen once the stock lines becomes clear for the new ones. So, you can expect the announcement of these DSLRs from early 2020.

So here we go, what to expect from Nikon ? October 2019 edition.

  • Nikon D760 : The successor of Nikon D750 DSLR camera, to be announced in early 2020.
  • Nikon D6: The successor of Nikon D5 DSLR camera, to be announced in late 2019 to early 2020, Rumored Specs: 24MP, 4K@60p, Built-in Sensor Stabilization
  • Nikon Z-mount Mirrorless Version Nikon D5/D6: Coming in 2020 or 2021
  • Nikon Z50: To be announced in late 2019, a DX mirrorless camera with 3 inch LCD screen, 20 MP sensor used on D500, EVF, 11fps.
  • Nikon Z8: A new high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera, could use Sony a7R IV‘s 61MP full frame sensor.
  • Nikon Z9: Development announcement could be as early as in this fall. High-end Z-mount full frame mirrorless camera, dual card slots.
  • Nikon D7600: Rumored to be announced in the Q1 of 2020.
  • Nikon D860: Rumored to be announced in 2020-2021, could also feature with Sony a7R IV‘s 61MP full frame sensor.
  • New Nikon COOLPIX cameras
