Nikon has just released the SnapBridge Version 2.6.0 today, with this update, NEF (RAW) images can now be downloaded. You can download SnapBridge Version 2.6.0 at iTunes | Google Play
SnapBridge is the free Bluetooth app that Nikon uses in its cameras to enable photographers to connect to smart devices, such as phones and tablets, and transfer their images so they can be uploaded to the internet on the move.
What’s New:
NEF (RAW) images can now be downloaded using SnapBridge (Wi-Fi equipped digital SLR and mirrorless cameras only).
Tablets are now supported.
We have improved usability.
