Sigma MC-11 Lens Adapter Firmware Ver. 1.17 Released

Sigma released a new firmware update version 1.17 for the MC-11 lens adapter SA-E and EF-E.

The Mount Converter/Lens Adapter for Sony E-mount gets firmware 1.17 adds compatibility with the latest firmware of SIGMA interchangeable lenses. With the firmware update v1.17, users will be able to use several Sigma Art series lenses such like the popular Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Art standart zoom.

The Sigma MC-11 adapter priced for $249 and available at Amazon, B&H stores. It is designed for Sony full frame and APS-C mirrorless cameras. With the MC-11 model Sony camera users will be able to utilize 19 Global Vision lenses in Sigma Canon Mount (EOS) and Sigma Mount (SA).

  • It has become compatible with the SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG OS HSM | Art for SIGMA, that has the latest firmware Ver.1.05.
  • It has become compatible with the SIGMA 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Contemporary for SIGMA, that has the latest firmware Ver.1.03.
  • It has become compatible with the SIGMA 14mm F1.8 DG HSM | Art for SIGMA, that has the latest firmware Ver.1.01.
  • It has become compatible with the SIGMA 85mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art for SIGMA, that has the latest firmware Ver.1.02.
  • It has become compatible with the SIGMA 135mm F1.8 DG HSM | Art for SIGMA, that has the latest firmware Ver.1.01.
  • It has become compatible with the SIGMA 500mm F4 DG OS HSM | Sports for SIGMA, that has the latest firmware Ver.1.01.

Note: Before updating the SIGMA MOUNT CONVERTER MC-11 firmware, please ensure SIGMA Optimization Pro has been updated to ver. 1.5.0 or later.
